Prologue

Prologue is a series of 9 silkscreened collages (70 x 100 cm) and a light table. The series, which is based on photographs of various everyday objects and natural phenomena, connects to the idea of different temporalities. We can no longer talk about a cumulative, chronological time in the age of the Anthropocene. Instead, we must relate to multiple, diverse temporalities across widely differing time scales. The future occurs before the present, the time arrives from the future and the past is the present.
