Constructions (After Frances Gabe)

A series of sculptures made of glass based on construction drawings by the American artist and inventor Frances Gabe (1915 – 2016). Her self-cleaning house, patented in 1984, was a self-supporting cleaning system which included 68 separate inventions[ for sprinklers and drying units that would wash and dry everything from the walls, the clothes, the dishes, etc. and channeled the waste water out of the house via a series of drains in the floor.
